【Antique】 Old Hyakunin Isshu, Fukutoku Brand, Paulownia Box Included, Antiques, Old Tools, Meiji to Showa Era, Retro

Thank you for viewing.
Immediate purchase is welcome.

This is a very old Hyakunin Isshu (Japanese poetry cards), believed to be from the Meiji to Showa periods, which has been carefully stored in an old family home (great-grandfather's house).

**■ Rare Fukutokusei Craftsmanship**
It features the Fukutokusei marking, which was used at the time to guarantee the quality of karuta cards. This is a piece with historical and aesthetic depth, suggesting a higher quality craftsmanship than standard editions.

**■ Beautiful Binding that Tells of its Era**
It is housed in a vintage paulownia wood box (or similar wooden box) and comes with the original green tie cord.
In addition to being used for its intended purpose as a game, the aged Japanese paper and ink have a beautiful patina, making it highly recommended for framing a few cards as art or interior decoration, for store displays, or as props for photography.
