Colonial Silver Co. Antique Colonial Silver Co. Quadruple Plate Teapot #1009 Victorian Etched Floral

US Size:

Colonial Silver Company (Portland, Maine) Circa: 1899–1910s Pattern Number: 1009 Material: Quadruple Silver Plate Antique teapot from the renowned Colonial Silver Company. This piece is a quintessential example of late Victorian/Early Edwardian metalwork, featuring a graceful gooseneck spout and a deeply ornate, scrolled handle. The body is decorated with a delicate hand-etched floral and leaf motif, framed by an elegant C scroll. The hinged lid is topped with a decorative wreath-style finial and finished with a beaded rim that matches the neck of the pot. The base is clearly hallmarked with the Colonial Silver Co. circle, Quadruple Plate, and the pattern number 1009. Excellent antique condition with a rich, dark aged patina (tarnish) that highlights the etched details. No significant dents, dings, or repairs. The hinge is tight and works perfectly. The interior shows some age-related mineral tea staining but remains solid. Can be polished to a mirror finish or kept in its current found state for a moody, primitive aesthetic. Dimensions: 8x8
